-Blank Light: Buford's primary ability is to manifest beams of pure light which are empowered by his emotions. The most basic form of light he can manifest is white light, a reflection of his usual apathy.

-Cool Light: A spectrum of light that ranges from violet to blue and green. All these colors can be manifested by somber emotions, such as sadness or fear. The greater the intensity of the emotion, the more powerful the light rays.

-Warm Light: A spectrum of light that ranges from yellow to orange to red. All these colors can be manifested by high emotions, such as surprise or anger. The greater the intensity of the emotion, the more powerful the light rays.

-Cool Sun: The Cool Sun is a conditional ability of Buford's where if he can harmonize his emotions, then he can release light containing a full spectrum of colors. This light wave is not only more powerful than his ordinary attacks, but it also has the function of connecting Buford directly to a target's sense of being. Essentially, this connects Buford to another person's feelings, emotions and memories, conjoining their minds together. Such a process can result in fusing their consciousness together, giving Buford a means to shut down their cognition.

Weaknesses

Because of Buford's typical apathy towards life, it is difficult for him to express his emotions as strongly as his abilities may need. Without intense enough emotions, his abilities will wane.

Biography

Buford was born with acromatopsia, giving him monochromatic vision and making him unable to see colors, only able to view shades of grey. He never thought lowly of his own deficiency, but rather he believed he was seeing the world for what it truly is: dull and meaningless. All the people he knew, all the things that happened in his life failed to interest him, giving him a very cynical outlook on the world. He became so cynical that his skin turned grey.

While he could never see color, Buford was ironically gifted with the power to manifest photons, light particles that can appear in a variety of colors based on his emotions. The origin of these abilities are not entirely clear, but he believes that they appeared after he had a dream where he met a cloaked man that he found “boring”. Buford's psyche was released, allowing him to manifest his pure emotions in the real world as light. Entering the Ultimate World Fighting Tournament, Buford seeks to create a less boring world, and find something that he can have interest in.

Abilities

-Kukuphi: Emerald possesses two kukuphis, whip-like weapons that contain blades that extend across them. The Kukuphis can extend in length up to 20 meters long, so they can be used as a weapon from any range. They can obviously be used for melee, but the lens on each of the blades can also use concentrated light to fire a laser. The kukuphis can bend and turn in any direction, wrap around targets and slice through even the hardest materials.

-Ultra-atom Field: Emerald's body is covered with a field with ultra dense atoms that can nullify the kinetic energy or force of matter, rendering anything that touches her completely harmless, regardless of the power behind it. It is the signature technique of the Pohaku clan and can make their warriors virtually invulnerable. The field isn't just limited to her own body, she can also transfer her field to other people or objects, but sustaining ultra-atoms beyond her usual amount requires a lot of energy, so she typically only uses it on one thing at a time.

-Light Constructs: With her kukuphis, Emerald can manifest more complex light constructs. They can emulate anything she wants, but have a size limit that prevents her from making too large a scale of constructs at once. These constructs are non-solid, effectively acting as illusions.

-Ultimate Defense: The Kukuphis have an emergency mechanism to summon a massive war fort at their location. This fort is built with seventeen layers of different rooms, all reinforced with hardened titanium walls. Each layer has its own unique defensive function to prevent invaders from making it through:

• Layer 1 - A room with heavy heat guided artillery, consisting of automated rockets and machine gun fire to automatically overwhelm anyone who enters.

• Layer 2 - A room filled with invisible, explosive landmines that detonate upon contact with an intruder. 

• Layer 3 - A room that, upon the invasion of an intruder, will immediately activate thousands of moving lasers to eliminate the target.

• Layer 4 - A room that is filled with a highly cohesive substance, capable of slowing down and completely trapping movement.

• Layer 5 - A completely underwater room which is highly pressurized, emulating the bottom of the Mariana trench.

• Layer 6 - A room filled with anesthetic gas, capable of tranquilizing anyone who enters.

• Layer 7 - A room that replicates the environment of Venus, it contains artificial acidic rain which is highly corrosive. Exposure will result in immediate corrosion of even the most resistant materials.

• Layer 8 - A room that has electric sensors that can detect and target heat signatures. Once they do, the target will be hit with an electrical current equivalent to 500 million amperage and 73 trillion volts, which would be immediately fatal for any human

• Layer 9 - A room that can produce extremely loud sound waves that can reach as high as 300 decibels, instantly shutting down and killing any ordinary person.

• Layer 10 - A room filled with isotopes more radioactive than polonium, the radiation given off will cause serious biological disruptions and death within seconds.

• Layer 11 - A room with artificial wind speeds that propels the target around the circular room, reaching speeds meant to emulate the storms of Jupiter at nearly 700 kilometers per hour.

• Layer 12 - A room that reaches extremely hot temperatures, attaining that of the Earth's core. This room will melt the skin off of any ordinary human.

• Layer 13 - A room that acts as a giant particle accelerator, firing particles throughout it at nearly the speed of light.

• Layer 14 - A room with an intense gravitational field, being able to pull targets down at millions of times the gravitational force of Earth. It will immediately crush anyone who steps inside of it.

• Layer 15 - A room filled with anti-matter particles, it will create massive explosions of energy upon contact with ordinary matter by converting their mass.

• Layer 16 - The final room before the safe room, it is an artificial vacuum that neutralizes thermal energy. Any amount of heat or energy will be immediately nullified inside of here, reducing the movement of particles to the absolute zero temperature.

• Layer 17 - The final safe room where the user resides. If there are any extra security measures in the 17th room, they are unknown.

Weaknesses

Emerald's fighting style is specifically focused around defense, whittling down the opponent over time and outlasting them. Because of this, her actual offensive capabilities are somewhat lacking, and she is unlikely to win a struggle of pure power.

Biography

The title of “Emerald” is given to the top warrior of the Pohaku clan, an island tribe which focuses on the art of defense and is at war with the La clan, a rival island. Emerald grew up learning how to fight and has climbed the ranks faster than any previous holder of the Emerald title, being entrusted with it at a very young age. She is an expert fighter, one of the most skilled in the world, and works for the service of her tribe and community.

Upon hearing about the Ultimate World Fighting Tournament, she immediately entered as a representative of the Pohaku clan with the intention of winning for her island and ending their lasting dispute with the La tribe. That may be easier said than done, but very few can dispute her high aptitude when it comes to fighting tactics.

-Kazumi: The core source of power behind 87's abilities. Kazumi is a foundational form of energy that exists within the bedrock of all forms of matter, the filler of quantum wavelengths that turns perception into reality. All Kazumen can tap into this intrinsic energy source, but 87 was born with a genetic mutation that allowed him to channel far more of it through his body than any other Kazuman. 87's thoughts and ego generate Kazumi, and with it he can create blue energy constructs to create almost anything, as well as blue plasmic blasts. While he can generate Kazumi himself, since Kazumi exists in all things, 87 can draw energy from objects or people to take their energy for himself. Kazumi can only be brought to its fullest potential by a truly creative mind, and 87 is sure to use it to create many unique abilities, such as:

-Flight: 87 can manifest a thin layer of Kazumi around himself to both propel himself through the air and create leverage underneath his feet and body. It is a much less complex process than it sounds.

-Laser Beam: By thinking really really hard, 87 can fire a blue energy ray made from plasma out of his fingers, hands, or really just out of thin air. 

-Bigger Laser Beam: Not good enough for you? Well 87 can make even BIGGER lasers capable of covering whole landscapes.

-EVEN BIGGER LAZAR!!!!: To add to his repertoire, 87 can make even BIGGER lasers that DESTROY FRIGGIN PLANETS!!!!!!

-Beam Fist: 87's self described signature move, he can manifest kazumi around his fist into a plasmic ball and then punch his opponent with it. Upon contact, the energy will release, unleashing a large ray of energy, or sometimes simply a massive explosion to further damage his enemy.

-Id: By becoming completely focused on victory, 87 can fundamentally alter his Kazumi, changing it from blue to red as his entire body gains a red hue. In this form, 87 is immensely stronger, and grows exponentially more powerful every second he is in it, making him almost impossible to overpower. Eventually, this growing power reaches a critical boiling point where it will climax and 87 can no longer sustain it, but he's never stayed in it long enough to see what would happen if this did occur.

Weaknesses

Although the source of his great power, 87's biggest weakness is his massive, overly inflated, gargantuan, narcissistic ego. He thinks so highly of himself that he rarely, no, never takes his opponents seriously. This causes him to not think ahead at the beginning of a fight, preferring to show off his power instead. In his eyes, his self confidence is deserved, and in fact necessary for his powers to work at their full potential. However, this has caused him to be excessively lax in his fighting ability, having never properly trained his combat skills a day in his life. In addition, 87 is totally reliant on his supply of Kazumi which can drain over time. If he doesn't finish a fight soon then energy depletion could be a serious problem.

Biography

λ-Class G935687 is a member of a race of super powered creatures called Kazumen, sent to Earth from the stars above in Medieval times to fulfill a grand purpose. Of course, it was only a matter of time until they were forced to war against humanity. Although they were immensely powerful, they were few in number, and the Kazumen would be defeated in what would be known as the Forgotten War, named so because every trace of such a war and the Kazumen were wiped from history. The Kazumen didn't go extinct - instead, the survivors were forced to use their energy to serve humanity's needs behind closed curtains. This led to many technological advancements and helped mankind advance centuries ahead in medicine, transportation, and warfare, all while Kazumen were trapped on an island unmapped to the general public.

Centuries after, λ-Class G935687 was born with abnormally high levels of energy which was only further sustained through his ego. At only eleven years old, 87 was too powerful to stop and defeated the humans who controlled the Kazumen island. Despite his age, he would become their king and protect his homeland for years to come… until he became bored of his responsibilities and the monotonous non-happenings of no one in his kingdom nor the humans trying to reclaim the island being able to challenge him, so he left to find new adventures. When he came back, the entire island had mysteriously vanished! There was no trace of his race’s existence, and no evidence that anything like him was real at all. 87 had planned on dominating the world and subjugating the human race, but hearing of the Ultimate World Fighting Tournament changed things. Once he takes his expected victory here, he can simply wish away his problems, bringing his kingdom back into existence and keeping them safe from mankind for good. If, for whatever reason, that doesn't work out, then he can always go back to his world domination plan…

Abilities

-Taxer: Crafted from an unbreakable material from the Underworld known as red iron, the Taxer is a seven foot tall battle axe that weighs twelve hundred tons. The Taxer is a weapon that can only be utilized by Aziz, the strongest combat demon of the Underworld. Despite its immense weight, Aziz manages to swing around his weapon with terrifying efficiency, carrying enough power to cleave a mountain. 

-Hellfire: Aziz's body can expel hellfire, the essence of the Underworld itself. The heat is capable of burning away souls, but Aziz's soul has a resistance to it due to his daemonic origin. It can come out in large blasts or be fired as precise projectiles, regardless, it will burn away all it contacts with.

-Hellice: Ice that comes from Cocytus itself, Aziz can expel freezing winds that entrap foes in ice structures. Instead of burning away souls, hellice freezes them, immobilizing the spirit and thereby immobilizing their emotions, motivations, thoughts and functions.

Aziz can coat the Taxer in either hellfire or hellice, or both at once. This can increase the power of his swings and violently disrupt the soul of his target.

Weaknesses

Aziz has a relatively sluggish fighting style and is not trained to be an evasive fighter. He is especially tough, but cannot avoid very many attacks from nimble fighters. As a demon, he is repelled by sufficiently holy power, and instinctively avoids bright areas.

Biography

A servant of the God of Death Heberu, Aziz is a warden and war general whose job it is to ensure that no demon escapes the Underworld, a realm underneath reality where evil emotions escape to when a living thing dies. These emotions manifest as monsters known as demons, and if the emotions felt upon death are so great, they may drag the soul down to the Underworld as well. Aziz was one such soul, once being a military commander of a long forgotten planet that was destroyed in warfare. He carried the emotions of his entire dying world with him to the Underworld, where he now resides as the strongest combat demon.

Aziz's entrance in the tournament is a complete mystery. He has been a loyal servant of Heberu for millions of years, and a demon leaving the Underworld is the one of the greatest infractions they can make. Whatever his reason may be, it will not be easy to eliminate such an opponent.

Abilities

-Immortality: Jonathon's signature ability, not dying. You can cut him, crush him, splatter him, vaporize him, blow him up, any viscerity you can think of, and he will come right back. How does one get past such an unfair ability? Good question. Even his clothes are able to regenerate, because his clothes are made out of his skin. His immortality has also made it so that his physical body cannot age past twenty years old.

-Duplication: If one Jonathon wasn't enough for you, he can always make more of himself. Any severed piece of Jonathon, no matter how small, can regrow into an entirely new Jonathon without lacking any of the power or abilities of the original. It is unknown if the additional Jonathons share the same mind as the original or if they possess free will, but they have no problem absorbing themselves back into the original if need be. Jonathons need to get along.

-Puppet Ball: From Jonathon's wrists, he can extend strings that connect to a small ball which can phase into an opponent's body. Once inside, Jonathon will be able to control the body of his opponent, able to influence them into doing whatever it is he wants.

-Dark Magic: As a practitioner of dark magic, Jonathon has access to several dark spells, such as:

• Hell Fire: Fire that is so hot it can burn away the soul. Jonathon is able to safely use this thanks to not having a soul in the first place, and primarily casts it as a projectile.

• Illusions: Jonathon can cast illusions that he can trap opponents in, forcing them to live through their worst fears.

• Revolumize: With this spell, Jonathon can alter the size of himself, as well as other objects and people. He can shrink you to the size of a flea or grow himself to the size of a mountain, square cube law be damned.

• Flight: The most evil power of them all, Jonathon can float off the ground and fly through the air.

• Relocation: Jonathon can use the Relocation spell to teleport himself anywhere in the universe, or anytime, as the Relocation enables him to move through the timeline.

• Transfiguration: The Transfiguration spell is able to alter matter, changing an object or person into anything he wants. When using it on enemies, he takes a lot of inspiration from All Tomorrows.

• Death Wish: His most powerful spell of them all, the Death Wish is able to enact instant death upon anyone he wishes. Unfortunately, in order to activate this spell, the caster must give up their own life in exchange. As Jonathon cannot die, the sacrifice would fail to work, making it ultimately useless to him.

Weaknesses

Jonathon never takes anything seriously, always acting playful with his opponents and, oftentimes, allowing them to get off many of their attacks on him due to his own confidence in his survivability. It is not undeserved, but it will often take a while before he finishes a fight. He has simply become too jaded with his own immortality to believe in any meaningful conflict in his life, so he instead gets his enjoyment from playing with his opponents.

Biography

Jonathon's story was written before he was ever born. His mother was a witch, and his father was a violent sadist. Jonathon's maternal grandmother despised their arrangement, and cursed them so that their last born son would be born an immortal monster that they can never kill or get rid of, and would bring about doom for all of humanity. When he was young, Jonathon’s father would kill his mother, and so Jonathon would kill the father in return. He would leave and form the Reitsnam group, a criminal organization that inflicts harm on others. Sometimes they deserve it.

Possessing the sadism and passed down sins of his father and the witch lineage from his mother, plus the nature of his birth curse, Jonathon was especially in tune with the art of dark magic and witchcraft. When he heard of the Ultimate World Fighting Tournament, he knew he had to enter, and now was the time to fulfill his destiny…
